Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill Osteopathic Practices
A G Pusey Associates

This large and established osteopath practice has served the communities in Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and surrounding villages in Mid Sussex for more than 30 years and welcomes enquiries from all who believe osteopathy may be of benefit to them.

Osteopathy is a “hands on” form of manual medicine established by Andrew Taylor Still in the 1800s.  Dr Still looked at the body as a whole and developed the idea that, if all body parts are moving properly, the body can function in the best way possible.
Local osteopath practice A G Pusey Associates has been providing osteopathic services to the community from the surgeries in Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill since the 1970s.  Friendly, informative receptionists are avaiable to speak with you by telephone from 7.30am to 7pm. Experienced osteopaths (male and female) are available from 8am to 8pm during the week and on Saturdays from 9am to 6pm, to accommodate people with hectic domestic and work schedules.

Seven highly qualified osteopath practitioners in the Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill clinics provide care for a whole range of people with a diversity of problems, such as: -
  • colic and sleeplessness in babies
  • children with bad posture and middle ear infections
  • performance related issues in sportsmen and women
  • postural changes associated with pregnancy
  • job related aches and pains in office and manual workers
  • stiff joints and wear and tear associated with the ageing process

These are just a few of the diverse problems treated at this osteopath practice.  Most of us will suffer: -
at some stage in life and osteopathy helps to tackle these painful and energy draining conditions.

After care, such as advice on exercise and activities, may be augmented by an experienced Alexander Technique practitioner who looks at individual ways of improving body posture.

Together, osteopaths and patients work to fulfil Andrew Taylor Still's ideal – to make sure the musculoskeletal system is working well in order that the body can function at optimum levels.
