Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill Osteopathic Practices
A G Pusey Associates
Osteopathic treatment rarely causes pain but if one procedure is unpleasant another can usually be chosen which suits you better.
Do keep your osteopath informed of any pain during treatment. Keeping quiet and putting up with pain will tense muscles and could make treatment less effective.
Your treatment may change from session to session, according to how your body responds. Some forms of treatment may be repeated or new methods tried if progress is slow or the easing of one pain uncovers another.
Many patients experience an immediate reduction in their pain and an improvement in range of movement. However, it is quite normal to experience aching or soreness after treatment. If this occurs, a warm bath and a pain killer usually resolves the problem within 48 hours.
This large osteopath practice has served the communities in Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Lindfield, Newick, Cuckfield, Hassocks, Keymer, Ditchling, Hurstpierpoint, Wivelsfield Green, Plumpton and surrounding villages in Mid Sussex for more than 30 years. Our highly trained and friendly osteopaths will be pleased to try and help and we welcome enquiries from all who believe osteopathy may be of benefit to them.
